We can’t get enough of BIG ART these days! Even though we are having the warmest weather I can remember for December the kids really wanted our home filled with snowflakes. We’ve created lots of little ones with paper and popsicle sticks, but today we went big creating a few Giant Colorful Paper Snowflakes. I love how cheery they make our dining room look!
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE GIANT COLORFUL PAPER SNOWFLAKES
large square piece of paper- this white butcher roll is perfect for this project- our squares were about 3 feet x 3 feet

)

HOW TO MAKE THE GIANT COLORFUL PAPER SNOWFLAKES
Begin with a large square piece of white paper. Ours were about 3 feet by 3 feet. Feel free to go bigger or smaller.
Step 1: Fold the paper diagonally in half making a triangle.
Step 2: Fold in half again making a smaller triangle.
Step 3: Fold into third.
Step 4: Cut off the top part.
Step 5: Make various cuts and shapes in the snowflake making sure to never cut completely through. If you want help check out these ideas about where to make the cuts.
Step 6: Carefully open up to reveal your gorgeous giant snowflake!
Now let’s make it a colorful snowflake! We painted ours with liquid watercolors.
Let dry and hang on the wall. It is such an amazing visual!
