Since unicorns are all the rage right now, and I’m having a blast making playdough kits, I thought it would be fun to make a Sparkly Scented Rainbow Unicorn Playdough Kit. If unicorns played with playdough (and I know they do!) they would totally play with this! Using our basic playdough recipe as a jumping off point this playdough kit is pure fun with a variety of sparkles and smells like cupcakes and cotton candy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THE SPARKLY SCENTED RAINBOW UNICORN PLAYDOUGH KIT
basic playdough ingredients- flour, water, salt, cream of tartar
heart and star shaped sparkles- how cute are these
liquid watercolors
cookie cutters- this unicorn cookie cutter set
playdough accessories like these star beads
cupcake fragrance oil 
HOW TO MAKE THE SPARKLY SCENTED RAINBOW UNICORN PLAYDOUGH KIT
Now it is time to have some fun! Start by making a double batch of our basic playdough recipe. Before cooking it on the stove divide the playdough into 4 equal parts. Add cotton candy fragrance to two of the parts and cupcake fragrance to the other two parts. Tint each part a different color and stir in the sparkles. I made our playdough purple, blue, yellow and pink. Cook each playdough on the stove according to the instructions found here.
Next, roll out each playdough ball and lay them one on top of the other. Now roll into a snake like shape and cut into 2 equal parts. Roll each part into a ball. We paired our scented rainbow playdough with unicorn cookie cutters and fun accessories like multicolored stars and jewels. These added whimsy to this special kit. Time to play!
