My kids are loving our themed playdough kits so we decided to make another one. For this one we went with our imaginations (and some glitter!) to create a Sparkly Castle Playdough Kit perfect for all the little princes and princesses in the world.

TIME TO PLAY WITH THE SPARKLY CASTLE PLAYDOUGH KIT
Introduce the activity by simply giving access to the materials. Seriously, it is that easy. There is no right or wrong way to play with the materials. While I am calling this a Sparkly Castle Playdough Kit it is important to note that if the children want to make something completely different please let them. Follow your children’s lead.
Luca began by taking small chunks of the two colors and pressing them onto the styrofoam cone.
Luca really wanted to cover the whole cone with playdough and carefully took the time to do so. Next she added rhinestones and glass stones. Strings of beads would be fun too!
Some goofy princesses were playing that day!
Almost always our playdough time turns into a bakery shop. We brought out our playdough tools as well as our new favorite silicone mini muffin cups.
Lu remarked there wasn’t a lot of business at her shop that day. Oh well, still a super fun afternoon with playdough!
