Marbleized Shaving Cream Paper Activities

I love revisiting activities I did as a child with my own children.  These Marbleized Shaving Cream Paper Activities combine all my favorites- simple items, easy instructions and gorgeous, wow-factor results!  Check out the step-by-step instructions below and watch the video to see the process in action.

Marbleized Shaving Cream Paper Activities

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE MARBLEIZED SHAVING CREAM PAPER ACTIVITIES

shaving cream
liquid watercolors or food dye
pipettes (droppers)
small cups of jars (one per color)
thick paper like this watercolor paper
large shallow pan

TIME FOR THE MARBLEIZED SHAVING CREAM PAPER ACTIVITIES!


Begin by adding the shaving cream to a large shallow pan. Spread the shaving cream evenly in the pan. Fill small cups or mason jars with the liquid watercolors (we used magenta, turquoise and yellow). Add one pipette per jar.

Add drops of the liquid watercolors all over the shaving cream.  So pretty!

Use one of the pipettes to swirl the the shaving cream in vertical and horizontal motions creating a marbleized effect.  Don’t over do it!

Take a piece of the thick paper and place it on the shaving cream. Gently pat it down and lift it up.

Next we took a plastic credit card and scraped the shaving cream away.  Get ready for the most gorgeous results!
