This week the Preschool Book Club had so much fun exploring the book I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More! by Karen Beaumont. The story portrays a young child who just can’t get enough of the painting experience, but when the painting gets too messy his Mama puts away his paints and hollers “You ain’t gonna paint no more!” Well, the paint proves too irresistible as the reader follows along as the child paints each body part with fun rhymes. The 5 I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More Activities use literacy to explore a variety of learning areas including math, color identification, dramatic play and artistic expression. Let’s have some fun!
