I am jumping for joy that people are giving my new book, Art Play!, for Hannukah and Christmas this year (and birthdays too!). Art Play! is inspiring people around the world to give the gift of art and creativity this Holiday Season. With 22 process art activities that honor the creativity of young children it is the perfect gift for the kids in your life (and the teachers and caregivers, too!). I’m excited to share my idea for an Art Kit Gift for Kids full of materials that will provide you months of fun!

One way to make your Art Kit Gift for Kids extra special is to deliver all your goodies in a special splatter painted box. All you need are plain white boxes, liquid watercolors and pipettes.
I used the techniques in my book for the Drip Drop Paints to make these gorgeous boxes! I love using this technique with watercolor paper to make homemade notecards too.
I hope you enjoy putting together your own special Art Kit Gift to bring your little artists hours of joy!
