My children are blessed. They truly have everything they need in life. A warm home, a great education, a happy family life and enough clothes and toys. As the toy catalogs continue to fill our mailbox we continue to focus our attention on helping others with an open heart. Instead of buying gifts for family members this year we will be giving each other Acts of Kindness Holiday Gift Cards. I’m so excited to see what they come up with!

Over breakfast one morning I told the kids my idea about acts of kindness gifts. We began brainstorming potential ways we could help each other and make our hearts feel good. It was so much fun to hear their thoughts. My son wanted to bring me tea and let me watch cooking shows on television. Luca told me she would let me go to the bathroom by myself. Ha!
MAKE YOUR OWN ACTS OF KINDNESS HOLIDAY GIFT CARDS
Now comes the fun part, spread your own acts of kindness to friends, family, teachers, students and co-workers! There are three different printable gift cards available with a Hanukkah theme, Winter theme and Christmas theme. Print out your choice and spread the holiday cheer! Wouldn’t this be a fun alternative for a teacher gift? Or teachers could print them out for students to give each other! Perhaps you could surprise a neighbor or friend. The thought of our cards being passed out all over the world brings a smile to my face.
