7 Disney Themed Playdough Recipes

March 2, 2014 by Meredith @ Homegrown Friends

We love homemade playdough!  It is fun to create and the possibilities for play opportunities are endless!  After surprising our children with our upcoming Disney World Vacation our kids have become inspired by all things Disney.  I decided to use some of the Disney World Park attractions and movies to create some 7 Disney Themed Playdough Recipes.  So much fun to create (even my husband got in on the action!) and even more fun to play with.  Best part?  They all start with our simple Homemade Playdough Recipe.

7 Disney Themed Playdough Recipes inspired by the Disney World Park attractions and movies. So much fun from Homegrown Friends!

All ingredients in our Disney Themed Playdoughs get mixed together and then heated on the stove.

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE HOMEMADE PLAYDOUGH RECIPE FOR DISNEY THEMED PLAYDOUGHS

2 C flour
1 C salt
2 C water
2 TB vegetable oil
4 tsp cream of tartar
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan (children can help with this step).
Cook on stove until mixture forms a ball (stir constantly).
Place ball on counter to cool slightly (it will be very hot coming out of saucepan).
Knead the playdough to smooth out any bumps.
