Best Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe

- PIZZA DOUGH
- 1¼ cups warm water
- 4 teaspoons active yeast
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- marinara sauce
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- Begin by making the pizza dough. Combine the warm water, yeast and maple syrup in an electric mixer.
- Add the olive oil and mix.
- Slowly add the flour and salt until the dough forms a ball.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes using the dough attachment or by hand.
- Let rise for 1 hour.
- Split dough in two parts.
- Grease two baking sheets with olive oil.
- Roll pizza dough out on baking sheets.
- Add marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
- Cut pizza and enjoy!
