Peanut Butter Chocolate Heart Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 package Dove Heart Chocolates
  • ½ C butter
  • ¾ C all natural peanut butter
  • ⅓ C sugar
  • ⅓ C packed light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ C all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Additional sugar
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove wrappers from chocolates.
  3. Mix butter and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended.
  4. Add ⅓ cup sugar and brown sugar and beat until fluffy.
  5. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
  6. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter mixture.
  7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  8. Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  10. Immediately press a chocolate into center of each cookie. Don't worry, the cookies will crack around the edges.
  11. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
