Thank you for the memories. After 10 years, Homegrown Studio closed for good. Forever grateful for this incredible space I had the opportunity to create. 

Meredith Magee Donnelly is a Connecticut pioneer in children’s process art and sensory play. In 2016, she founded Homegrown Studio , one of Connecticut’s earliest dedicated studios centered on process art, sensory exploration and child-led creativity.

Homegrown Studio believes there is no right or wrong way when it comes to children’s art.  Homegrown Studio showcases how to experiment with a variety of high-quality mediums such as paint, clay, collage, watercolors and sculpture. Little artists have the freedom to fully immerse themselves in our creative space as they learn and grow together. Babies all the way through elementary school children delighted in our whimsical space where experimenting is encouraged and joy is abundant.
