Homegrown Studio is a process art, sensory exploration studio located in West Hartford, CT. At Homegrown Studio we focus on the process of creating art, rather than the end results. There is no right or wrong way when it comes to children’s art. Children have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of high-quality mediums such as paint, clay, collage, watercolors and sculpture. Our artists have the freedom to fully immerse themselves in our creative space as they learn and grow together. Babies all the way through elementary school children will delight in our whimsical space where experimenting is encouraged and joy is abundant.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU VISIT:
- We are a shoe-free environment. Please leave your shoes in the cubbies provided.
- PARKING- We have free parking in front of our Studio accessible via Sedgwick Rd. or you can access over 50 spots in the back of our building via S. Main Street. Please do not park in front of the dry cleaners. We do not have access to these spots and they will stop in and tell you to move your car.
- Our classes are a multi-sensory experience. With your children’s ages in mind we create an hour of fun that is all about being able to say YES to your children! A happy world for all! Children will gain exposure to various art and sensory experiences including paint, clay, playdough, goop, collage, sculpture and so much more!
- We believe all materials are for all children regardless of gender.
- Please remain with your child at ALL TIMES. Our classes are designed to be enjoyed together.
- We invite you to follow your child’s lead and play with your child. At this age some little ones will spend the whole time engaged in one activity, while others will enjoy the freedom of jumping from one activity to the next.
- You are welcome to use your phone to take photos of your child, but we ask that you refrain from using your phone for other purposes during our hour together.
- We follow the same sick policy as the public school system. Please refrain from coming to class if you or your child has had a cough, fever or runny nose in the last 24 hours. Thanks for helping us keep the germs away 🙂
- If we have to cancel class due to weather or instructor absence you will receive a coupon code to use at a later date. If we need to cancel you will receive an email before 7am.
REFUND POLICY:
- FULL CLASS SESSIONS: There are no refunds within 3 week of classes beginning. A refund of 75% of the cost of the session will be issued if requested more than three weeks before the class start date.
There is no refund offered within 3 weeks of the start date of a class session.
- ONE DAY CLASSES: There are no refunds or makeups for one day classes.
- MISSED CLASS POLICY: There are no refunds for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather or teacher sickness, an extra class will be added to the schedule or a refund with be given.
- By registering for a class you at Homegrown Studio you are agreeing to the policies above.
