White Chocolate Pretzel Bird’s Nests

My children love themed treats for holidays and changing seasons.  Our Stained Glass Cookies are a favorite during Christmas time.  We are finally enjoying Springtime weather and our White Chocolate Pretzel Bird’s Nests are there perfect Spring treat.

White Chocolate Pretzel Bird's Nests

Serves: 12
Ingredients
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup pretzels, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • jelly beans
  • COOKING TOOLS
  • cookie tray
  • parchment paper
  • knife
  • spoon
Instructions
  1. Begin by melting 8 ounces of white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. If the chocolate is not completely melted microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
  2. Next add the chopped pretzels and peanuts to the melted chocolate and stir until combined.
  3. Scoop spoonfuls onto a cooke tray covered with parchment paper.
  4. Place a colorful selection of jelly beans on top of the white chocolate pretzel bird's nests.
  5. Let the chocolate harden. You can speed up this process by placing the tray of white chocolate pretzel bird's nests in the freezer for 10 minutes. (Let defrost for a few minutes to soften the jelly beans).
