As a mom of three and a business owner who loves decorating for Christmas I am always looking for things that are quick, easy, but also look beautiful. I was so excited when the company King of Christmas contacted me about a partnership because I have been eyeing their Christmas trees for years! I’m all about creating moments of joy in our home and one way we do this is by putting a Christmas tree in each room. You can roll your eyes at me if you want- I’ve slowly become *that* person- but let me tell you walking into a room with twinkly lights during the cold, dark winter months is jolt of happiness I highly recommend. I like to have a different aesthetic for each of our Christmas trees. For this King of Christmas 7.5 Yorkshire Fir Tree I wanted to pair the simple white twinkle lights with homemade Paper Bag Snowflake Ornaments as I love the combo of the white lights with the color of the paper bags.

HOW TO MAKE THE KING OF CHRISTMAS PAPER BAG SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENTS
STEP 1: Put your King of Christmas tree together. Want to know the most amazing surprise? It took me literally three minutes to put my whole tree together! With all that extra time, let’s make some homemade ornaments.
STEP 2: Grab some paper bags and scissors and start snipping away. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to making snowflakes. Cut a square from a paper bag and then fold into a triangle. Fold 2 more times and then start making time cuts into the paper making sure to not cut all the way to the other side.
STEP 3: Open up the flakes and start decorating. I love these POSCA paint markers. Oil pastels would also be a fun choice.
STEP 4: Hang the Paper Bag Snowflake Ornaments on your King of Christmas Tree. One thing I love about faux Christmas trees is that the branches are bendable so you won’t need hooks for these paper bag snowflake ornaments. Easy peasy!
What King of Christmas tree will you choose? They have so many different styles with heights from 3-12 feet. Check them out HERE.
May we all bring ourselves a little more joy this coming season with some gorgeous King of Christmas trees and afternoons spent crafting DIY ornaments.
