With Valentine’s Day fast approaching my kids are all about pink, red and hearts lately. We decided to combine their love of Valentine’s Day Activities with a fun sensory experience to create our Shades of Pink Soap Bubbles Sensory Play. Inspired by the Rainbow Soap Foam created by Fun at Home with Kids I transformed our large sensory table into a sea of pink foam. So much fun!

HOW TO MAKE PINK SOAP BUBBLES SENSORY PLAY
We made six batches of the soap foam adding different amounts of red liquid watercolor to create varying hues of pink. Fun at Home with Kids describes a genius way to create large amounts of bubbles really fast. Using their technique we had a full table of bubbles in less than 10 minutes! Including children in the process of making the bubbles will aid their mathematics skills while supporting scientific exploration.
I started by creating the darkest pink soap bubbles. With each batch I would make the color of pink lighter so that when placed in the sensory table the bubbles were transformed into a gorgeous pink ombre effect perfect for some Valentine’s Day fun.
My kids we eager to dig their hands right in.
They had so much fun exploring the soap with spoons, bowls and loads of cars.
What a successful morning! When we were done I simply emptied the bubbles into our sink and wiped out the table. Easy clean up!
